Whilst I never saw that series ending coming, its another one to add to the dragging on a bit now list.

Killing Eve is excellent.
Anybody watch 'The Bank That Nearly Broke Britain' last night? Really interesting watch almost 10 years on from the near collapse of RBS. I'd forgotten so much of what happened (RBS buying a Dutch bank for £79bn in cash, calling a £12bn share issue largely paid for by employees who lost the lot, Goodwin holding out until the last possible minute regarding the government cash injection that was needed to keep the bank, and economy, afloat).
TWD season 9 starts this sunday :agree:
the actor that played Hershel(scott wilson) has died :(
Still working my away through Gamorah, great viewing very vicious. Guy from my work is from Naples so been interesting hearing a lot of what went on and how close to the truth it is.
Started watching Orange is the new black recently on Netflix and so far looks good.
The walking dead series 9 has started, the first episode is available at all the usual places.
Looking good, never thought for one minute i'd enjoy a series about zombies, but i'm hooked on this. :greengrin

binge watched "The Haunting of Hill House" on Netflix... one specific part near had me having a wee accident :greengrin there's some great special effects as well
Watched the first couple episodes of Barry last night. About a hitman who stumbles into an acting class when sent to a job in LA and fancies a change of career. Wouldn't say it's brilliant, but pretty original and quite funny.
New Yorkshire Vet, never miss it
Just finished the sopranos, great show although a little disappointing finish in my opinion.
I remember being confused at first but now I think of if, was quite a unique closing scene. More memorable than the usual happy or sad ending.
I once saw one of these fan theories about the ending and it blew my mind a bit. Had little clues and references throughout the series about how it was going to end.
:agree:
The Wire being another notable example of perfect ending IMO.
Interested to hear what Blackpool felt disappointed by. Maybe just needs time to absorb it all. I've not watched tHe final episode in a while but remember the scenes with Junior being really touching, a great sign off. And obviously Phil Leotardo...
Not exactly TV, but a new series of Live From Daryl's House is imminent. [emoji1739]

Maybe on reflection disappointing is a little harsh, it was just what i was not expecting and it was a little predictive, you knew what was coming, we just never got to see it?
Anyway, now that's finished, anyone got any other suggestions on what to binge on, something similar to the sopranos would be nice. :greengrin
Think season 2 of making a murderer is now on Netflix. Will be watching that when I get back home tomorrow.
Sure both will have already been mentioned but really enjoying The Looming tower.
Also finished Jack Ryan. Wasn’t going to watch it as assumed it was just a 24 imitation, but a Friend said to try it. Was better than I expected, nothing groundbreaking but a bit more grounded than the usual super agent stuff.
