Jan Akkerman's latest - "North Sea Jazz - Legendary Concerts" - loved this Dutch guitarist ever since the days of Focus back in the 70s ... this is another gem, following on from "Minor Details"!
The super duper excellently packaged "Self Portrait" does the business for me, especially the whole show with Dylan and The Band performing at the "Isle Of Wight" with exceptional sound quality.:wink:
Despite my initial doubts this is better than I expected, but I'm not yet convinced - still, it's getting some rave reviews (even in Rolling Stone) - it's so much better than the original ... not that that takes much doing (IMO) :greengrinQuote:
