Obviously keeping his options open.
Bit about Commons in the EEN's interview with Lennon today, good read.
Heard him on sportssound tonight sounded like he's hung up the boots for good
I was told the same from a pundit on there who's a friend of mine but if Lennon is confident and he can get fit it would be a very good addition.
I'd be very surprised if he plays again
The return of the monthly Commons thread. Cue ten page debate about whether he would augment the squad etc, etc.
I listened to the show last night as well and thats pretty much word for word what he said. When another guest said Commons had retired Kris didn't correct him and spoke about his playing days as if they were in the past. He also made a joke about needing a new back so I think he's done.
Was delighted when he signed first time round but I just don’t think he’d offer enough this time round. If Lennon thinks he will though then more than happy to trust his judgement.
Lennie didn't rule it out but I just don't see it happening. He has been out for so long I wonder if he will have the appetite to get back to fitness levels required at our level. From what I know about him, he was never the fittest of players, talented no doubt, but not a box to box type of midfielder. I think he might be after a media job.
