Queen Margaret Union?

Anyone know the best way to go to get to the QMU? Have a concert there tomorrow night but have never been before to be honest....

Also, is there any parking at, or near the venue?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Is that the new University ?..if so ..

Do you know Fort Kinnaird (Newcraighall).?.if so join the A1 from Fort Kinnaird ..a few hundred yards on the left you will see the sign posts for QMU ...take the slip road on left & thats you there (less than 5 mins journey)...they do have minimal amount of parking spaces...

You could park at Musselburgh train station in stoneybank, will be plenty spaces there by the time you're going...

or you could get the waverley-north berwick train and get off at the musselburgh station-1st stop and will take less than 10mins

the uni is right next to the train station

if your driving....

m8 to glasgow, come off at junction 17. straight down great western road, turn left down otago street (just after going over kelvin bridge), turn right onto gibson street. at lights, hang a left, then quick right onto university avenue. QMU is on the right halfway down university avenue.

by choo choo train...

edinburgh - glasgow queen street. take the underground to Hillhead. 2 min walk from there.

enjoy

Thank you kindly! I was only really unsure of the M8 junction and where to go after getting onto the Great Western Road. Cheers bud - enjoy I shall!
