FIRST QUARTER RESULTS

 

So, after the first quarter and it couldn't be tighter at the top of the Internet Competition. In fact, I had to invoke the tie break rules to split the top 3. In the games against Hearts, Rangers and Celtic, Mike Turner scored 11 points, Paul Spiers scored 8, and Tony Fryars scored 6 points. Mike will receive the T Shirt, and Paul Spiers a key ring and lapel badge.

Who is Mike, I hear you ask? Well, he's a work colleague who, unfortunately, is a Jambo! (See below). One thing it proves is that I haven't tried to fiddle it so he didn't win! Scrupulously fair, me!

In the Member's Competition, Paul Flynn from Dublin (near London!) is out on his own so will receive the T Shirt. Morton Love scored 9 points against Hearts, Rangers and Celtic against Pat McKinney's 8, so Morton will get the key ring and lapel badge by a whisker.
