  1. 4.40 minute miles

That's the pace of the male runners in the London marathon today. Paula Radcliffe said, "Yeah, they've set off quite slowly today." My good god. Even when I was slim and fit, I couldn't have run one mile at that speed, never mind 26! Phenomenal.

  2. Noise Complaints

Does anybody know, at what time does a loud hi fi justify a complaint. I say it's after 10 pm, but someone else says it's 12 midnight. I've looked at Edinburgh Sh*tty Council's website, but it's as much use as a pair of ear plugs.

  3. Newspapers - Irresponsible Reporting

If a newspaper prints something about an individual that isn't true, they are bound by rules of defamation, and may have to retract or pay damages. However, if a newspaper prints untrue stuff about a subject, or object, they can do so with impunity. I am thinking in particular about their...

  5. Question Bin Men - How Much do they get paid????

There was a bin man on the telly last night telling Nicola Sturgeon that he got £20,000 a year. My question is, is that a basic, or is what he makes after his shift allowance etc.

  7. Scotland's Role in a "Balanced" Parliament

Say the SNP do end up holding the balance of power at Westminster, and manage to get the concessions they are after from the UK government. Scotland is hardly going to be popular in England is it? Let's face it, there's a thinly veiled contempt for Brown's Scottishness as it is. He is going to...

  15. Question Should you be able to vote by text/via the internet?

It would get more people voting but it could be abused if people get other people's details. Having said that you can sign up as an organ donor by text so it is possible. I would say it is the way to go.

First of all I should point out that I'm not one of those tossers that hates women, thank god they exist.
