  1. Ricky Burns fight

Anyone watching? He's in a bit bother here imo. Lad he's in with looks very decent. Awkward, fast and hitting hard.

  5. Rugby League Play Off

What an ending to this relegation play off. Salford down by 8 with 90 seconds to go and score 2 tries to level it at 18-18. Then a 50 metre drop goal to seal it in extra time. Chuck in a pitch invasion and a wee bit aggro and you have a good day out :-) Hopefully the grand final next week is...

  6. Ryder Cup 2016

So not long to go now until the battle commences. Thoughts on how it will go? For me the US are favourites and I think it will be close until the singles with the US storming away with it on the final day. Too many inexperienced and out of form players in the European team.

Congratulations to the Western Bulldogs who won the Grand Final for only the second time in their history, the other one being in 1954! 9. Turnhouse Golf - 4th October

Bit of a long shot but due to working away from home a lot I need to play another supplementary score to keep my handicap. The only day that I can manage is Tuesday 4th October and was wondering if anyone on here was a member at Turnhouse and fancied a game and marking my card? Paul

  11. Ryder Cup Captains Picks

Not long now..... Westy & Kaymer seem stick-on picks but the 3rd is gonna be a really tough call for Clarke. With 5 debutants in the team already I think he will have to go with experience which means either GMac or Luke will get a shout.

I've just been watching 2 bouts, both of them were really awful decisions. 1 of them was the Irish boxer, Conlon, who lost the bout, quite wrongly in my opinion. 35. Olympics - Russians

Is the IOC wrong to leave individual sports to decide on who can represent Russia in Rio? Doping was clearly rife across the board and it seems a farce that these cheats can put forward competitors who have managed to 'get clean' in time for the games. Should it not have been a blanket bann?
