It's that time of year again when all the toffs get out their top hats and tails but as always the most important thing is the horses! 4. 2017 Queen's

Andy Murray knocked out of Queen's in the first round losing 7-6 6-2 to Jordan Thompson who is 90th in the world. He only played after Aljaz Bedene pulled out through injury! Not great preparation for Wimbledon!

  8. Scotland Rugby: Autumn Tests

Does anyone have an idea as to how much the Three-Match package for the Scotland Autumn Tests is likely to cost? I was looking to buy a season ticket that included that, and the two Six Nations games, but they're sold out already. With Father's Day coming up, I'm looking to get tickets for...

  10. The young golfers of today

10 years ago, when I was a 14 year old lad I would play in every golf competition that I could. On a Friday afternoon after school I would have the choice of whether to play the junior medal at Dundas or Linlithgow, and you could guarantee there would be at least 15 playing in each, often much more...

  17. Tiger Woods

Sad to see him playing so poorly. I don't think much of him as a person, but as a golfer he was one of the best! Question - do you ever see him regaining his status as the one to beat? I really don't think so. His swing now has too many 'issues' and his chipping is very poor. Worse than Hunter...

Great win for Scotland today over Ireland 27-22. Hard fought and plenty of guts on display. :aok: England sneak home against France 19-16. Great start to the tournament. Bonus points on offer for more attacking rugby. Going to be a great 5 weeks of rugby viewing.

  21. Newbury

I thought Ribchester was quite impressive in the Lockinge, although Gallileo Gold didn't help her cause before and during the race. A word for Natavia who was an impressive winner later in the card, and if the ground is similar at Epsom would have a real chance in the Oaks.

After a career-best year in 2016 it's been a real struggle this year so far for Andy, who has just lost early in the Italian Open (one of the nine titles he won last year). Disappointed to only see two Scots in the squad. I know O'Brien's a great trainer and all that, but for me Caravaggio was the most impressive 2 year old last season, and at Royal Ascot, as far as I'm concerned, he was staying on well to come from a bad draw and win going away. But O'Brien seems to think he won't stay, and has Churchill as his...

Great race to watch this, Robbie Power seems to be riding out of his skin at the moment cos Sizing John had to work really hard to beat Djackadam and Coneygree. I thought Coneygree ran a great race, considering that's just his 3rd race since he won the Gold Cup himslef in 2015.
