So, who do we think will get the final 3 places? Would appear to be between: Paul Casey Padraig Harrington Luke Donald Justin Rose Edoardo Molinari Ross Fisher
1. beat italy tonight 2. beat argentina/france/oirland in the QF 3. beat south africa in the SF 4. beat the all-blacks in the final 4 easy steps....plain and simple.....gies the cup(i've worked it all oot):thumbsup:
15-9 over England. 3rd time since 1990.
That was a sign at the WI vs England test match which was pretty good - especially since England are now 26-7 and still 20 short of reaching their lowest score EVER in a test match. And also on course for an innings defeat - great viewing.
Starts today from the O2 Arena in London. First up is Andy Murray against Juan Martin Del Potro. Fantastic start by Murray as he went into a 5-0 lead but Del Potro has just got one of the breaks back and it's now 5-2 on Del Potro's serve. Roger Federer plays Fernando Verdasco later...
England have had a nightmare start, currently 44-5 :no way: I got up at 6am for this too..... Need a big fightback now :agree:
:not worth
Well done Andy through to the US open final !!
Any fellow Snooker followers on here? Seems to be about the only sport without a thread in this forum! I can't get enough of it. Sit and watch it for hours on end. The Masters are currently on. Tipping Robertson to win it again :agree:
Not seen a thread on this yet - anyone watching? Snowboard slopestyle final on just now and its brilliant! 2 Brits in the final and one of them sitting 2nd after the first run - loving it so far.
Andy Murray won 6-3 6-2 in the early hours against Adrian Mannarino in the opening round of the Indian Wells Masters. He will now play 18 year old Carlos Alcaraz in round two. Not such good news for Emma Raducanu though as she lost in straight sets to Aliaksandra Sasnovich. It's only one...
Magnificent set of 1st round ties tonight, really looking forward to it.
When England get it wrong they get it wrong big time, 84-5 after India scored 416 in their first innings.
After last weeks great event and finish in East Lothian who is getting it done this week? Koepka Fleetwood McIroy or Bob for me.
At 6.15 on Sky Sports 3. Team so far; 1. (1) Padraig Harrington - Ireland - 4 caps 2. (4) Sergio Garcia - Spain - 4 caps 3. (2) Lee Westwood - England - 5 caps 4. (3) Henrik Stenson - Sweden - 1 cap 5. (5) Robert Karlsson - Sweden - 1 cap 6. (6) Miguel Angel Jimenez - Spain - 2 caps
Who's gonna win??
Really looking forward to next week's Tournament. As usual Tiger's the man to beat, but i've a wee inkling Fred Couples will do well. He's got a great record in the Masters and seems to be free from his recent back troubles. He's also doing well in this week's Houston Open in Texas. I've just...
Big roumours that Alex Arthur and Amir Khan will be sharing the buill on September 6th. No confirmation yet of venue or opponents, but Barrera could be an opponent for Arthur!
What a disgraceful outcome to the final round of the PGA. Johnson should never be penalised for grounding his club in that - if it's designated a bunker, why the hell are fans allowed to stand in it?! NEVER a bunker and a rediculous decision by the USPGA.
Anybody see the 100m final yesterday. This guy was amazing.:agree: He stopped sprinting after 85-90m and cantered to a world record. Jamaica have to be a stick on for the 4x100m relay.:agree:
In case anyone is interested, I thought I would give some notice that Andy Murray is playing tonight against Rafael Nadal in the semi finals of the Toronto Masters. The match begins at 8pm (British time) and is a rematch of this year's Wimbledon semi final, which Nadal won in straight sets. ...
As it says on the tin, GO ANDY!
Why am i addicted to watching women and men bashing stones about, often knocking them out one after the other?
The world's best players are in London this weekend for the beginning of the season-ending tournament that will see the curtain come down on the 2011 season. The draw for the group stage was made a couple of days ago and it is; GROUP A Novak Djokovic Andy Murray David Ferrer Tomas...
This one just got spicy. Chisora slapped Vitali at the weigh in and a bit of a scuffle followed. If anyone fancies a flutter take Klitschko in less than 6 rounds.
Starting today. Who does everyone fancy? I'm being boring and going with Woods at 9/1 on Betfair with Westwood E/W at 14's (or on betfair, £10 win at 14's and £10 top 5 finish at 7/2).:agree: Just seen on Sky Sports that Quiros hit a hole in one at a 278 yard, par 4 in practice (to be fair,...
It's that time of year again when we'll be strolling up Magnolia Lane for the start of another Masters Tournament. This event has always been my favourite tournament as far as TV coverage is concerned and I can't wait for the action to get underway on Thursday. Tiger is at ridiculously short...
Good games tonight. Currently Anderson v King. 8-2 to Ando...he's infuriating!!
Could this be his year to finally win the Australian open? It won't be easy with Federer and Nadal hitting good form again but Djokovic has just been eliminated in 5 sets by Wawrinka..
Always a day to look forward to with quality NH Nags thrown in. Settled into Platform 5, things may be messy by the time Gary Anderson starts tonight @ The Ally Pally. Game on! :-)
Great Britain are back in Davis Cup action this weekend and will be looking to beat the USA for the second year in a row. For the first time in four years, Britain are playing a home match in Scotland and this time they are playing at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow. The singles matches...
I take in interest in boxing but far from an expert. However, is Khan for real with some of the things he says about Mayweather?! Can someone enlighten me?!
Started tonight in Blackpool. Kyle Anderson and Robert Thornton early winners. Van Gerwen currently 7-0 up and Rod Studd comments that Caven must feel like he has run into a truck. Not his finest line of commentary given recent events!
What a weekend this is for Connacht football. https://www.sportsjoe.ie/gaa/quarter-final-promo-will-stir-soul-everyone-west-131675 'Mon Roscommon
I just don’t get it. I’ve been watching it all night tonight and it’s a dreadful spectacle. So many people I know absolutely love it but I’m not seeing what they are. Most of the time it’s grappling on the deck.
Ronnie O'Sullivan beats Luca Brecel for fourth straight Shanghai Masters title - BBC Sport 'I'm preparing for death so I flog or get rid of my snooker trophies'.
I'm off to Toronto in a couple of weeks and have managed to secure tickets for the Leafs game against Washington. Anyone been before? What can I expect? Really looking forward to it, especially excited about seeing the lad Ovechkin!
Cmon Jack, get mini league sorted out :greengrin
England currently 154-0 midway through the 26th over, good start to say the least.
Anyone else going to this? Looking forward to it, tough, tough fight for Ricky but if he wins then it opens up doors for him in the US and that means a shot at big money and a unification fight.
