  1. Utterly embarrassing headline from the Scotsman

Dunfermline 2-0 Hibernian: Double trouble as Thomsons claim Pars victory" http://sport.scotsman.com/hibernianfc/Dunfermline-20-Hibernian-Double-trouble.6838093.jp They have obviously done their research in depth for that headline.

...............and an away point. Massive improvement on last Saturday. Roll on Tuesday for more of the same. I think most would have taken 2-2 today.

  5. The Old Firm ..unfortunately

Watched the match last night in Australia...this is how we should play..fast, accurate, both teams creating and threatening..passing through the midfield..chances to score at both ends..OK not perfect, but 100 times better than we could muster..we look like a second division team at the...

  6. Interesting trialists

Looking through some old Hibs records I noticed that in 1997-1998 season we gave a trial to a Paulo Sergio from the Estoril club in Portugal. Wikipedia says that the Hearts boss was with Estoril around that time. Anyone confirm that it's the same guy? What about any other interesting...

Did calderwood not say he would be worth the wait? Although he hasn't had a lot of game time has he shown even a glimpse of anything remotely different? Boy looks well overweight.

  8. Victor Palsson

As the weeks go by, I'm becoming more and more disappointed in him. For the pedigree he has he just doesn't assert himself enough in a terrible SPL, I'm quite glad we only signed him on an 18 month contract now, he really needs to up his game.

  10. Unseeded in League cup.

For anyone who thought the post split results didn't matter last season this is the reason why we have the delight of an away trip to Motherwell in the league cup whilst Aberdeen are at home to East Fife. Anyhow c'mon Hibs some relief from the league drudgery might be the tonic we need.

Constantly caught ball watching. Not aware of where the player he should be picking up is. It happened a number of times in the 1st half, Jason Thomson should have scored then, and then again for their equaliser. And he's one of our more experienced players!!!

  20. Realistic Expectations

First post, so go easy on me ! Like the majority of fans, I'm less than happy with Calderwood and I think he could do with a lesson in effective PR, he comes across dreadfully IMO, constantly talks in cryptic language to the press and if he communicates this way to the players, then they...

Unfortunatly I fear CC is not the man to make Hibs push on, he for me hasnt showed me anything at all to turn the wasters in Hibs shirts around. 27. HIBS AND CALDERWOOD - no chemistry?

Many have been pretty forthright in their viewpoint that Calderwood should go, with much personal vitriol being used. The board seem reluctant to admit ther error, buti in fairness to them the hiring of a manager is a bit of a hit or a miss thing. And sometimes, the reason why a manager can...

  30. CC's Position LESS Secure After That...

Ok a draw. Probably at the start of the season you take that away at the Pars. However, I thought that again we were defensively a shambles. Dunfermline right now won't be patting themselves on the back having retrieved a 0-2 deficit. They will be gutted at not winning a game they should...

  31. Could it be a masterplan?

CC has to be on his way out the door soon, its almost as if he watched the game today and though "Bugger, we're 2-0 up, thats it I'm pulling the strikers so we dinny score any mair" It seems strange to bring in an assistant manager when we apparently didn't need one, unless, BB has been brought...

  35. I thought we looked a bit better today.

Now dont get me wrong, i still think we are poor, and that clueless tosser should be taken up arthur seat and buried, but O'Conner again looked good, Griffiths too. Scott gets all round the park, has a few digs at goal, and is much better on the ball than Murray. O'sbourne looked decent...

  39. No Midfield

Our 'midfield' is playing far too deep. They're essentially playing on the back-fours' toes. Consequently, the opposition is invited to press forward, free from any challenges, right up to the edge of our penalty area; and when we decide to attack there is no one through which to play the ball...
