  2. Question Is our league position a result of the training centre?

Now we finally have our own training centre is it one of the main reasons behind our recent good form? Interesting to read Colin Nish's comments on how the players now stay behind for hours after training for steam baths and weight training rather than just knocking off home. Nish believes this is...

  3. I'm scared....

I'm thinking about that day in May 86, I was at Easter road watching another Hibs defeat, this time to Dundee Utd. If we end up needing only a draw in the final game of this season, I'll be out the country! :bye:

  4. The biggest games in Hibs' history

Well, what have they been since the 1950s? European nights, big cup games, big friendly clashes, defining league games (the good and the bad) etc etc What stands out for you whatever age you are whether you're 10 or 100, what were your biggest games and why? Would like a big response to...

  5. Question Time to cut the Hearts allocation?

As we can all see from today's brutal Hearts performance and an even worse turnout(less than 500) by the Yam 'masses' perhaps we should consider making them sell their tickets in blocks as they do to us and the Old Fimr do to everyone. We could lose an absolute fortune at New Year as with the...

I've been racking my brains - when was the last time Hibs went 9 games unbeaten? Anyone? Also what's the next target? (I know 10 would be good after the next game) but how long did the winning streak go on last time?

  12. (Yams) Batman Foulkes will not be a happy drunk tonight

Then we have a series of matches against St Johnstone, Kilmarnock and Hamilton, which in even a mediocre season, we should expect to accrue a good total of points. If we do so, we will then be in a better position to face the challenge of Dundee United and Celtic in quick succession. If, however,...

  14. The New Year Derby - Scottish Football Authorities Vandalism

The way this traditionally big fixture has been systematically abused over the years by the authorities is nothing short of tragic, and to my mind says more than just about anything as to how ill-equipped for the job that the people who run our sport are. Cast your mind back to when the New Year...

Nothing against our pals from across the city, in fact I always like to see an Edinburgh club win - but I'm going to break with custom and practice, and with a heavy heart, reluctantly wish Hamilton good luck in their exciting top-flight tussle with one of my home town clubs. 18. Saturdays Referee .. Brines

My opinion may be a bit biased but I thought he did everything he could to assist Motherwell to get back into if not win the game, the 2 bookings for Deeks and Hately were farcical, all they did was mouth off at each other, plus many of his other decisions were baffling to say the least.

He's an ST holder at the PBS.
