Personally thought that his changes second half were very good. While taking off LG took away some of our threat on the break the bringing on of Kuqi gave us a bit more defensive aerial cover which IMO helped. I also think Ivan for DW was a good move as his fresh legs brought more protection for...

Hello all. I have seen threads on here before about why do you support hibs and it got me thinking about if you have ever been the reason somebody supports hibs? Apologies in advance is there has been a thread on this before but I will blame that on being new . I myself have enlightened...

  5. Leigh G - a real Hibby!

Apologies if this has been posted before. Being in a mellow mood today for some reason I took an hour out & enjoyed watching the " we're on our way " DVD, the story of the 2003/4 season. Near the end of the film when ER's celebrating Hibs finishing 3rd, the camera goes round the crowd & there's a...

  6. Are we getting the credit we deserve?

As it says on the tin. There has been liitle said about our current position (not that im too unhappy with this) but are we arguably one of the biggest success stories in recent years? I dont mean this in terms of achievement cause we have yet to achive anything material however we are a team...

  9. Rod's going to be a busy man

Looking at our starting 11 today, only Williams, Hanlon, Cairney and Taiwo, as it stands are under contract at the end of this season. We obviously need to get a few of the key ones signed on, as well as get some of the loans signed as well. Going to be a busy time ahead for our chairman and...

  24. To put our progress into perspective

Last season, Hibs beat ICT to move off the 23 point mark on 1 April, in our 32nd game. What a remarkable turnaround this year, far in excess of anything I could have reasonably expected. We're certainly not the finished article yet and I don't think we're not good enough to finish second, our...

Omitted Sparky as technically he was signed under Calderwood (once Airey was injured, mind you). I've gone for Ben Williams. The odd mistake aside, he's been great for us. If he eradicated those mistakes he'd be playing at a much higher level than the SPL.
