Hi all, Hope this is ok to post. I'm looking for any pointers towards books which cover, ideally in real detail, the foundation of Hibs in the Cowgate. I'm currently researching life in the Victorian slums of the Old Town and really want to look at how the Irish/Roman Catholic community fared. ...

Laidlaw Gray McGregor Hanlon Stevenson McGeough Martin Shinnie Boyle Holt Cummings Commons out for Boyle. The team selection wasn't the problem today, and Holt and Shinnie played relatively well IMO. Our inability to finish chances was the problem.

Great piece. Tells the story of this wee team in the quest for footballs holy grail. They are a side known for fleeting moments of success but more often than not wind up disappointed.
