Will the final be on in Quinns? Looking unlikely I will get a ticket so planning on heading into the smoke to watch it.
For those unfortunates who haven't managed to secure a brief for the Cup Final, Vinny and the team at Quinn's are going to give us priority on the day, regardless of the other matches taking place. The doors will be open from 12 noon and we fully expect to pack-out the establishment.
Have The Quinn family got anything organised for Scotland fans for this game?
Quinns as per usual?
Anyone got any cheap ideas?
cheapest ive found is london - glasgow on the coaches, only thing is thats about 8 hours on the coach.
any ideas welcome!
Just a brief update folks, but as you probably know, the play-off quarter final ties against Raith Rovers aren't being covered on TV, so Quinn's or anywhere else for than matter is a non-starter.
All going well, the semi-final matches against Falkirk are both being shown via BT Sport. We have...
Quinn’s in the 1990s was as close as you could get to a perfect restaurant. Back then, it didn’t have the best food in the world, or even in London; it wasn’t the prettiest or the most sumptuous room; it was a long way from having the finest wine list; it didn’t offer a view. But it had that thing,...
I'm in the armed forces and now working in north London. Cannot go home for final on Sunday and gutted beyond belief. I'd imagine that most of the London boys are heading up for the final. I've asked about Quinn's on the main Hibs forums and got no real answers to anything I've asked about...
Is there going to be a meet up for this game?
I fear London Hibs is moribund.
I assume there will be a gathering in Quinns?
Coming down to London for the w-end with my old man, will be in Quinns for the Hibs game, happy days!
I believe there's an OF game on @ 1245 too.
HIBS game v Motherwell on Friday 26th October is on the TV at Quinns in Camden.
Kick Off is 7.45 pm .
From the crisply ironed tablecloths to the epic cheese ‘chariot’ that gets wheeled out at the end of the meal, Pierre at Quinns sets the North London standard for dyed-in-the-wool French dining without tears and is a ‘refreshing example’ of how it should be done. Francophiles can salivate at the...
Hi, let me introduce myself.
Im Nick, Currently living in London originally from Essex and a Man City Fan.
I help run the Man City London Branch, so why am i posting on a Hibs fansite i hear you say.
Well although im a season ticket holder at the Etihad i have a soft spot for Hibs,
Was great to see some of the "old faces" for the Hamilton game.
I'm still in Londinium but the countdown has begun.... Should finish there on the 15th Aug.
London Hibs boys heading Quinns for the game - will it be on?
cheers Mr T.
Can anyone help?
Are U18's allowed in?
If they're having soft drinks obviously and do you have to pay to get in?
For the uninitiated looking in, London goes right to left; its latitudes are more prosperous than its longitudes. The city flows east-west; north-south is downhill, shabbier, grubbier. Maybe it’s because a river runs through it. Perhaps it’s some Camden hippy bile, but the city ebbs and flows with...
This year, Christmas week is Senegalese week at Quinn's. Why Senegalese? Don't ask me but seemingly Pierre is training an African chef for another new business venture in Monaco and the week's staff are half-white, half black, with the blacker half being some of the most arrestingly beautiful...
Following-on from last weekends meeting at Quinn's, as discussed, a discussion forum has been created which hopefully will be an improved form of communication between us all.
Please feel free to contribute at any time.
I'll email Mike Prior and request that he posts the...
hi,I've only been to one hibs game (blackpool pre season) and now I'm finally employed I'm looking to go up to Hibs a few times a season.I'm looking to go up with a few other people from London, on the national express/megabus, leaves friday night and arrives saturday morning around 7am, return...
How is everyone getting up to Edinburgh/Glasgow?
Train is only £37 from Kings Cross (with a railcard). Thinking of taking it after work on the Friday.
I saw McHibby who is based in Cambridge is travelling up through the night
Hi guys, in London for the weekend and wondering if the SC will be at Quinns on Sunday for the first match of the season?
Must've been an interesting day!
How much is membership to the LHSC? Been meaning to get up Quinns for a while however work always gets in the way!
Sourcing seasonal ingredients in the depths of winter is never easy for perfectionists like Pierre, but he has scoured Europe-wide to provide us with some sumptuous dishes.
Having been invited along to his preview evening last week I can definitely say no-one will be disappointed, and hopefully...
This was posted on the London Hibs messageboard - but for those turning up for the first time...get to Quinn's for 12pm prompt, as the match will only be screened in the piano bar and seating is strictly limited.
Going by previous threads in the forum I assume the game will be on tomorrow? Just double checking though!
Hoping for a good wee crowd in on 29th September at 1200 for the Aberdeen game at Quinns :flag::hibees:pfgwa
Awaiting details of opening times and menu etc........
Just checking whether Quinn's is showing the game this sunday
Just found out will be over in London from Canada over the Cup Final weekend. Realise no chance of tickets at this stage, but are London Hibs meeting in Quinn's, or elsewhere to watch the game? Surely everyone is not going to be at Hampden?? Would love to take in the game with some fellow Hibees...
Hi there, I've been a Hibee for over 10 years, since my uncle took me to a derby when I was 14 and I got hooked!
I live in Brighton these days and would be keen on getting involved with the London SC (I spend most weekends in London).
It would be great if someone could share some advice on...
As attendees at Quinn’s on Sunday will know, Mr and Mrs Quinn recently received their ‘Best French Brasserie in London Award’ at a gala ceremony organised and sponsored by L'Équipe and the Egon Ronay Foundation. While often seen dotting around the restaurants like kids toys with defective...
All food journalists get asked the same question: "What's the best restaurant in town?" The answer is the one where they know you without having to surreptitiously check the screen; they bring you a drink without having to be told; it's where the manager/owner asks after your children by name; it's...
I've recently moved to London:-)
What pubs show ESPN, where are people going for the game on Sunday?
Many heading to Quinns next week? :flag:
Sat down with Pierre yesterday and we talked through the menu for the New Year derby at Tynie. The food gods are looking down on us for this match as the game is a 7.45pm kick-off, giving Pierre and his team plenty of time to prepare something a wee bit special for what's sure to be a large...
Staying in London on Monday night, I've been booked in a hotel at Swiss Cottage, any recommendations where to watch the Hibs? Understand Spurs are on sky so all pubs I imagine will be showing that. What about Quinn's in Camden? Don't think that's too far from where I'm staying? Any...
There it is on the menu. My dish. My invention. Except you can’t actually invent food. Only God can do that, and Ronald McDonald. You can try to keep recipes secret, like Coca-Cola or Indian restaurateurs who’d kill their chefs if they tried to go to other kitchens, but as a rule of trotter, food...
Does anyone know if Quinns is showing the game on Wednesday?
I'll need to get my dinner jacket back from the dry cleaner asap if we're on
