Does anyone remember a comic character from about 30 years ago? He was a footballer who could be fouled, tripped, abused in any way and he would take it in his stride. His achiles heel was that he had red hair and if it was commented on he would totally lose the plot. Think it would have...

Anyone else think this is the best series ever? No longer do I cringe when I watch it. Beautifully shot, written and acted (with the odd exception).

Sad to hear that Gerard Kelly has died at only 51 years old. City Lights is one of my favourite ever TV shows and Willie Melvin one of the funniest TV chracters ever. Saw him playing the narator in the Rocky Horror Show a few months ago and he was hilarious.
