  1. I'm looking for a locksmith.

I need a bog standard yale type lock fitted to a door that's never had one fitted before. Do any dotnetters do this type of work, in Leith? Has anyone had something similar done who can give me recommendation and an indication of the cost?

  2. Best razors?

I've always been a blade man (never enjoyed using electric razors) and just wondering what folk find best? Forgot my trusty Gillette Sensor when away recently and bought a Harry's razor as a stand-in. Found it a bit strange with the 'flat' blades rather than an angled blade but it may just require...

  3. Nostalgia

Has anyone become a tourist in their youth during the covid pandemic? By this I mean doing things you used to do as a bairn but gave up as you got older. I've recently started collecting old subbuteo stuff and having a wee shot every now and again, still as much fun and a great stress reliever I...

I was wondering if anyone uses MS Planner at all? I'm in the process of transferring project plans out of Trello in to Planner and there seems to be character limitations that make no sense. 7. Xmas lights

Ok, it’s past now and you need to dismantle the light show around your house. Are you a “ put everything back in the box it came out of” Or “ just grab them and stuff them into a box/cupboard till next year” sort of person?

Having always been an avid reader, one of the glaring omissions from my reading experiences has been The Bible. 10. Album of the year

Interested in hearing what people would consider to be the best album of 2021, and yes I do insist on one album as opposed to a list! I'm saying 'As Days Get Dark' by Arab Strap. Very rarely does a band reunite and put out their best album but it's an absolute corker.

  14. A sad day

Sad to see the passing of Mike Nesmith, Steve Bronski and Mensi today. As a big fan of the angelic upstarts the latter saddens me most. A band who released some absolute classic singles and a few brilliant albums. Hard to count how many times I'd seen them live. https://youtu.be/owrVQebWCtc

I absolutely love music from the 70s some absolute classics came from that decade, but the thing I love the most about that decade is the way they didn’t care that the lyrics didn’t always fit with the soundtrack, they just made it fit by shortening or elongating the lyrics to suit the soundtrack....
