I know true followers of the fall will dismiss me as a Johnny come lately, but Iím loving this **** and in in true Mark E Smith style I couldnít give a **** what any of you think :greengrin
Has anyone ever listened to this on the Jeremy Vine show? Some eccentric old Welsh guy called Terry comes on and proceeds to do some gardening whilst talking away describing what heís doing. Itís the best thing on the radio. It must be what it was like before TVs came along.
I love my music, but I constantly find myself hating everything that everyone I know likes.
Its not good but I love this one
Posting videos of songs you listen to are cut then paste into the insert video icon if anybody wants to post anyway. I love all kinds of music of any era and type.
Why do some guys insist on going to the toilet for a Jarkko Wiss, using a cubicle, but not shutting the bloody door!
Does it excite you to think of someone not paying attention and walking into the back of you with your pork truncheon in your hand?
Do you enjoy awkward exchanges with other...
I never drink the last part of a cup of tea. This habit stems from pre-teabag days.
I still do it even though the reason for doing it is gone.
Old habits die hard.
Anyone have recommendations for hotel accommodation in New York.
I've recently booked flights as they were coming in OKish (£330 per skull direct) but then realised it's such a big place and I know literally nothing about the Big Apple.
We're going for our anniversary, from a Thursday to Sunday...
Anyone got this (not with the set top box)?
Is it any good?
At the suggestion of hibbyradge, here's the Movie Cliche thread.
One that drives me mad is when police go to interview a witness or someone who might know something, the person always carries on working while they talk to the police. The car mechanic fixing a car, the warehouseman loading boxes,...

A lot of lazilly-remixed 33 cms were served up to us gullible young fools in the early to mid 80s. Were there any good ones that were worth the extra pound or so? Obviously Blue Monday, so thatís off the list. One Great Thing by Big Country was quite good. Others?
What a shame. Bit of a game changer when it came to making dance music crossover into the mainstream.
So especially after todays epic, what drink have you got on the go?
I'm on a glass of South African Pinotage. Its not bad.
sad, RIP wee man :(
Verne Troyer, who is best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films, has died at the age of 49.
I know it's a challenge, but what's your one favourite Bowie song?
I'm listening to Aladdin Sane right now and it's brilliant, but one song is the task.
This should be fun.
(That's an observation on this thread, but doubles nicely as an answer to it)
Fill ye'r boots......................

Is it just me, or has the service gotten worse over the past few months. Parcels, letters etc constantly late. Stuff going missing, postie signing for things himself then posting through letterbox. The dreaded 'We are sorry we've missed you' card through the door even though you have been sitting...
Poor Walter. :boo hoo:
At the request of Alfiembra, here's the Driving Pet Peeve thread for frustrated motorists.
So, to kick it off.......
When you are just about to get into your car in a car park some Dumbo decides to draw in tight alongside your driver's door despite there being empty spaces everywhere around....
My car is in the process of being written off, just waiting to here from the insurance company with the final settlement amount.
My question is about my finance agreement I've had the car for under a year and still have 4 years left to pay. I'm pretty sure the settlement won't be enough to end...
Iím currently enjoying a wine renaissance, and I never thought Iíd have such appreciation of a good red. Iím really interested to hear what the rest of you think. Rioja is whatís doing it for me right now, but Iím not adverse to a Merlot or a cabaret Sauvignon.
I've just finished rewatching The Godfather trilogy - 1 and 2 are EASILY up there with the best films ever made in my opinion.
There's something about this genre of film that breeds exceptional movies - from White Heat to Army in the Shadows, from The Untouchables, The Departed, Goodfellas,...
Or more to the point .... Is there a double standard where some posters criticism of the club or certain players will be tolerated only up until the point where they start to disagree on the matter with certain long established contributors to the site at which point they get punted by the admins?...
I've got my video interview that I need to do this week. I was wondering what sort of questions they ask You?
I've been on glassdoor and they only mention the f2f interview questions.
OK, for a bit of fun, along similar lines to some of the other word association threads, only this time it is people's names related to the mighty Hibernian. Obscure characters accepted but no stuff like Walter Kidd etc.
Rules are simple, your persons first name must start with the same letter...
People on telly I don't like for some or other reason....
Following on from the Beautiful Tracks thread, I thought of a few classical pieces that would fit the bill, but that thread went in a different direction, and anyway classical music is such a broad category I think it deserves a thread of its own. So, if you have a favourite classical tune or...
If your name is john and you play golf clash what a hole in one you just hit. I noticed your profile pic on the game was the natural order banner. Applaus to you:thumbsup:
Not sure if I got the title quite right but I was thinking you often recognise sons of famous or well known Sportsmen following in their fathers footsteps, Kasper Schmeichel for example.
But I was absolutely stumped for daughters that have followed their well known/ famous parents into sport can...
All on 66 plate, what one you buying?
Does anyone know of anywhere in the Edinburgh and Lothians area to get this done?
Also maybe a ball part figure for the cost?
My auld man used to say "Spawny Rangers" everytime they got a soft penalty or a scabby winner.
We all love all these great shows, but which one has the best theme tune? I’m going to kick things off with the leftovers
