I've taken a job in Manchester as has my other half. We've arranged everything for the move and move in a week or so. Generally looking forward to it.
Are there any Hibees on here based in or around Manchester?
Might be good for advice on the City in time or even to maybe grab a pint and...
I don't think I've ever posted on here, but I used to post on the main forum many moons ago.
I live up in the Outer Hebrides so don't get much chance to see Hibs.

How to play;
Someone posts a famous line from a film or TV show.
You must then identify the source of the quote and reply with another famous line which would be an appropriate response to the first one.
Some editorial license is allowed, like name changes, as long as the quote is still...
Just for fun
So where do your immediate family hail from?
Me, born in England (Blackpool), parents both English (Fleetwood and Burnaze (thats near Fleetwood)) grandparents three English (Hull, Bolton and Fleetwood) and one Welsh (near Cardiff).
I'm heading to Salford tomorrow and looking to be there around half ten.
Travelling from Livingston along the M8, will the roadworks at Ballieston affect my journey time getting across to the M74.
Should I maybe go along the A71?
It's probably nothing, but we'll just do a quick prostate examination just to be sure.
I am sure there are plenty of tradesmen on here that work in folks houses all the times. What are some of the funniest incidents that have happened to you.
I have quite a few as a Snooker/Pool table fitter so I'll start.
Two of us were putting a 10ft table in a roof space conversion when the...

Just for fun, reveal your admiration for some of your fellow hibees who maybe don't realise you like their stuff and spread a bit of hibs.net...

Anyone been to the Monkey Barrel? Any good?
Reading the BBC website today and two headlines caught my eye.
They speak volumes about today's society.
1) "SCOTTISH POLICE AUTHORITY BOSS DEFENDS £950-A-DAY ACCOUNTANT"
2) "SOME HOSPITALS SPENDING 94P PER MEAL"
Can anyone spot any more "opposite headlines"?
Okay, but can he do a Peter Crouch goal celebration?
Damage = £600k? And here's me thinking Tracy Emin's bed was a crazy as it gets.
Hoover is probably the biggest one, lots of folk refer to their vacuum cleaner as the Hoover regardless of what make it is.
Stanley knife is another

Anyone able to tell...
Anyone seen this yet or know what the story behind it is?
I wonder how easy it would be to lift it and take it away? If it doesn't belong to anyone, surely it's fair...
Was wondering if anyone had much experience with the council and how quickly they turn around empty council houses?
My neighbour recently sadly passed away (she was a fair age) and the house is lying empty, it's a 4 in a block and hers is the only council owned property. Anybody have any idea...
I never thought i'd see a comic on tv that was less amusing than Russell Howard but, I think she takes the prize.
As a frequent visitor to Edinburgh virtually all Hibs related Im geting a little put out by the more and more astronomical hotel/BB costs.
Any fellow Hibs fan have a spare room I can use (for fair financial reward obviously) win win situation.

Has anyone tried the app Prankdial?
This thing has had me in stiches for days :greengrin
Basically , you select a prank then enter the victims number and an automated voice recognition program argues with the person and it records it on your phone.
It's actually quite realistic and I...
The reviews are out and they seem to be mixed. Whose going to see it when it comes out or head to the premier on Sunday.
I wonder if it will feature anything about Hibs winning the Scottish Cup!
Anybody on here in to the matched betting? Been doing it myself for a couple of months now and making some good cash from it, it's an improvement on getting rammed from the bookies every weekend anyway.
I only got in to it because of a guy I speak to at the games told me about a hibby he knows...
Anyone know if you can use this to send laptop screen (images/PDFs/PowerPoint) to a TV screen?
What's the story at the top part of New Street where it joins the High Street?
They seemed to have narrowed it to a single lane up from the Market St junction.
As I drove past the other day I didn't have a chance to check the signs.
Anybody know what the rules are now? Is it pedestrians only?...
Interested to get some suggestions of great B-sides, or tracks on double-As that didn't get the rotation that the other track did.
Oasis obviously had some stunners (only up until Some Might say, though, IMHO), and the Restless Natives soundtrack is peerless, but what else should I look out?
Has anyone got a copy of 3am eternal, and/or any other KLF material, that I can get a copy of?
Anyone recommend a good gym with a pool in Edinburgh?
with decent membership rates?
I can't believe Edinburgh Leisure charge around £50 nowadays!
Went to see Silence last night and really struggled with it. Had no idea what it was about before I went but had seen a couple of trailers and thought that might be worth a watch. But it turned out to be one of these films that you just think it's going to get better just hang in there, but...
What a fantastic movie, loved it....the last 40 mins are up there with the the best of anything in the star wars genre
Just watching it now. How crap has this programme become.
Canned laughter with stupid shallow gags. It has lost all its sophistication.
I'm needing to send back a mini moto as it doesn't work.
I bought it in November so do not have the reinforced box it came in.
Can these types of boxes be bought easily enough?
It's the type with the reinforced edges.
Any ideas ?
I'll start it off, I'm sure I've got a Brother Beyond 12" single in the house somewhere! Probably a Debbie Gibson one too.
