I'll start it off.
Couldn't find the old book thread and wanted to share a good'un. Anyone else read Seveneves by Neal Stephenson? I recently finished it and have been boring everyone to death recommending. Been a while since we had a book thread and I enjoyed the last one. So come one, recommend a book! (since...

Anyone able to tell...
How to play;
Someone posts a famous line from a film or TV show.
You must then identify the source of the quote and reply with another famous line which would be an appropriate response to the first one.
Some editorial license is allowed, like name changes, as long as the quote is still...
Anyone seen this yet or know what the story behind it is?
I wonder how easy it would be to lift it and take it away? If it doesn't belong to anyone, surely it's fair...
Was wondering if anyone had much experience with the council and how quickly they turn around empty council houses?
My neighbour recently sadly passed away (she was a fair age) and the house is lying empty, it's a 4 in a block and hers is the only council owned property. Anybody have any idea...

Has anyone tried the app Prankdial?
This thing has had me in stiches for days :greengrin
Basically , you select a prank then enter the victims number and an automated voice recognition program argues with the person and it records it on your phone.
It's actually quite realistic and I...
The reviews are out and they seem to be mixed. Whose going to see it when it comes out or head to the premier on Sunday.
I wonder if it will feature anything about Hibs winning the Scottish Cup!
Anybody on here in to the matched betting? Been doing it myself for a couple of months now and making some good cash from it, it's an improvement on getting rammed from the bookies every weekend anyway.
I only got in to it because of a guy I speak to at the games told me about a hibby he knows...
My son is getting group lessons at his school and it made me remember my old electric acoustic guitar in the garage that hadn't been played for about 17 years. We used to go down to original banana row back in the day and thrash about (very badly!)
Anyway, I decided to get it repaired again and...
Anyone know if you can use this to send laptop screen (images/PDFs/PowerPoint) to a TV screen?
What's the story at the top part of New Street where it joins the High Street?
They seemed to have narrowed it to a single lane up from the Market St junction.
As I drove past the other day I didn't have a chance to check the signs.
Anybody know what the rules are now? Is it pedestrians only?...
I've gone a wee while without listening to much in the way of new music, but there's been a spate of album releases I've wanted to check out lately for one reason or another and I've been pleasantly surprised.

Just watching it now. How crap has this programme become.
Canned laughter with stupid shallow gags. It has lost all its sophistication.
