Got this in my email today. THE HAIRCUT Blessed are those that can give without remembering, and take without forgetting. One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, ‘I cannot accept money from you, I’m doing community...
Just wasted two hours of my increasingly precious time watching "The Imitation Game". Why can't screen-writers pay at least a modicum of respect to historical truth? This was billed as history but most of it was complete and utter bilge. It used to be the Americans who distorted the truth...
Alright y,all Been away for four years in Aberdeen, glad to have made it home. Question is does anyone know a good fishmonger where i can buy healthy live scottish Brown Crab?
I'm looking to move back to Edinburgh after a long long absence and need to find myself a job in a kitchen. I've been a chef for 5 years working at a highlevel , well skilled in all areas, but am getting a bit frustrated with the horrendous pay offered in most fine dining kitchens. I'm just...

Last week I was extremely busy, had loads of college work and a family problem going on and I completely forgot I was due a minimum payment on my Topman card. The payment was due on the 11th, however I won't be in town until Friday to pay some of my card off. I've had an 0114 number and an 0113...

What's with all this buzz regarding Facebook? Everyone seems to be on it now. Signing up to it isn't something that i'm too fussy about. Always maintained I wouldn't sign up to it, but i've been told that there's now a group with over a hundred people petitioning to get me on it! Worthwhile?
Just put the DVD on, never watched it before. Worth persevering with?
Anybody else a wee bit lost and confused?

Looks like it'll be an interesting show :agree:
Series 4 has just ended. In comparison to the end of series 2 when we said goodbye to the first batch of characters, this ending is really poor. Thoughts?
Apparantly shutting down at the end of May and being turned into a wine bar. Dissapointing news as i've been going to The Nip for as long as i've been going to Easter Road. My Dad can't remember a time when he didn't go before a game. There's more here: ...
Anybody attended before? Contemplating it, decent line-up with Ocean Colour Scene, The Futureheads and The Undertones all playing and it's only £90 for the weekend, so it sounds like a plan. Who's been before and what was it like?
Anybody had one and if so what treatment was required and how long did it take to go away? Eye is currently half shut, painful and pretty bloodshot. An unpaid day off work I think :boo hoo: Absolute ****ing nightmare.
Why do they always show the same episodes? They seem to be repeated every couple weeks :grr:
Wee reminder it's on channel 4 right now...
I've heard that The Nip has re-opened as 'The Office.' What's it like? The Nip was my Dad's pre-match boozer for as long as he cares to remember and i've been going there for years. Any good, or has it went all upmarket?
With no re-issue of the Benetton rugby top out any time soon, Weekend Offender are exploiting the gap in the market. I'll certainly be purchasing one of these - http://www.weekendoffender.com/index.php/shop/detail/italia_rugby_top/ Very smart :agree:
Die Hard. Die Harder. Yippe ki-yay! :gun:
Myself and 8 mates find ourselves in the area this coming Saturday so are planning a wild one in Stoke. Any chaps on here experienced the delights of Stoke at the weekend? Reccomendations? Places to go, places to avoid etc?

Anybody seen this yet? I'm heading to see it later this evening, quite looking forward to it! It will also be the first time i've watched a movie in 3D. If you've seen it what did you think of it? (Oh and no spoilers, i've not read the book!)
