They could pay me to have breakfast there and I'd turn it down. A horrible, grubby man running it, trying to **** over the country with his progadanda leaflets, his poverty wages, microwaved bottom of the barrel food and ****ty, stale beer.

They're an evil part of our country and I'd shut every single one down if I could.

I know that people are entitled to eat where they want though so not going to judge on those that do go there - just those who run the place :greengrin

According to one feminist I know, they're popular pubs with women on their own because they don't tend to get hassled by blokes on the make.

It’s laughable to think women don’t got harassed to be honest. Although I’d wager it happens as much in Spoons as anywhere else.

Well apparently it doesn't. It must be the size of the places and the accent on food. Also there tends to be families about eating together and plenty staff wandering about.
