Villa fans not happy!

A supporter threw a cabbage at under-pressure Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce before his side's dramatic draw with Preston. Chants of "We want Bruce out" were heard around the stadium.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45634934

Bruce said "I find the whole thing hugely disrespectful."

I can't see him lasting much longer at Villa.

PNE are having a shocker of a season so far.

I doubt Brandon Barker is enjoying himself.

Apparently he got it under control, swivelled and volleyed it into the ONION bag.

Wasn’t even in the squad yesterday. Not sure if he’s injured but it appears he’s hardly kicked a ball.

New Manager will look to free up some cash in January Celtic will have to pay over the odds we get a tasty wee kickback you never know stranger things have happened?

I think he is probably already priced out of a move to Celtic. MOTM most weeks for Villa, if he goes anywhere it will be to a Premier team.

Come on people, are we really in a place where we're just casually accepting the mixing of Brassica with Daisies? Your lettuce has as much in common with a cabbage as Hearts fans do with humility.

Did Bruce control the offending article on his Napa?

They have them instead of pies in Birmingham, its a £1.50 for a full cabbage, quid for a half a cabbage for the kids, they eat them like a big apple.

Why would a new manager free up some cash by selling one of their best players? Celtic also couldn't afford him.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think it was Pat Crerand told the tale of having a poor game, going to take a throw-in and someone chucking a white pudding at him, shouting "Crerand, that's two of ye on the pitch now".

Think it might have started when they were away to Barcelona in the Champions League, or at least they got their hands on a lot of it then and had it in the ground. as a group of us were there and there was a lot of it being handed out amongst the away support, bizarre - they were singing celery, celery for a fair part of the game - meant they had at least 2 songs!

Harsh, over-hasty decision given that the club were on the brink of liquidation very recently. Guy's a decent manager and should have been given more time, but then how many managers get time in football these days?
