My mates bought a ticket has it on his email.

Does he need to print this off or should it work off his phone?

Shambles getting in tonight, staff at gates work effectively to let people in though, even when tickets were still invalid in their personal machines

I used a screenshot of my Print@Home ticket on my phone without a problem. Worth knowing for future reference.

Biggest shambles was game added to ST not working - had to queue at TO to get a paper one. Pointless and a waste of time.

Turnstile scanners in the West nearer the ticket office stopped working about 19:30 last night, caused chaos.

Had no issues at West with game added to my ST card, got there early though so looks like I avoided the crash.

A steward was having to manually operate the turnstiles, numbers 21 and 22 I think, a big problem was paper tickets failing to scan.

I was there at 7.30 and while my mate scanned fine, mine didn't. Thankfully I remembered that I had my email confirmation on the phone so after showing that to the steward they let me in but entry others had to get issued with tickets.

Got in no problem with the game added to my card but there were a number in front of me who's print at home tickets didn't work which meant the large queue moved slowly and I missed the first 5 minutes despite arriving 10 minutes before KO. I'll have to arrive earlier if this is to continue.

As an aside, was online not showing up as us having sold all 3 home stands? What was with all the empty seats?

Boy in front of me couldn’t scan his paper ticket, but my ST with game added to it worked fine. Felt sorry for anyone standing in those queues at ticket office last night.

we should spend all the cash we get from villa towards bringing 21st technology to our club, technology that actually works, we can wait until our next 4m transfer out to get a fancy audio system, and we could get more staff for the ticket office, hopefully ones that acknowledge customers e-mails, the position would also include answering the phone as well, gosh...it all sounds so advanced :greengrin
