With the news that 74% of hearts fans want to keep their manager, as he's doing such a good job, I was wondering what percentage of hibs fans think the same.

No way. His 10 year plan is going well.

Only if Cathro is getting his job

He would only go back upstairs and appoint someone like Steve Frail or Houston regardless. How many years now until the fans run the club?

Keep him there, I like it when we play teams that have 10 outfield players in there box when we get a corner or free kick, I don't feel threatened by a breakaway when a manager comes to Easter Road and deploys these tactics.

When Harry Potter sacked Cathro they were level on points with us so the answer should by YES. However I think he should be allowed more time to bring in his own players  and spend a bit more of Queen Budgie's cash.

He deserves a lucrative 10 yr contract. The Rustcastle board could scour the world, but I doubt they could recruit someone who would give Hibs FC and their supporters as much joy and laughter as has been provided by Levein.

They are still in the top 6, why would they sack him?

He’s there until they refuse to be taken for a ride for Budges ego trip anymore, regardless.

They'll definitely be in the top 6, every chance they'll get a hiding after that but no point sacking him unless they had a good option waiting to come in right now. They'd be as well waiting until the summer and seeing who is available then.

Don't really care. They've been a mess for a few years now.

Hearts could do a lot worse than Levein. I'd rather they get rid, another manager could make derbies even easier especially with their current squad.

Because that isn’t their goal. Europe is!

Also bad football, bad results, bad players, I can’t believe you’d even ask that!

Surely there should be a ‘Who gives a f&&k’ voting option?

That's the 'don't click on the thread' option

Was going to ask if this is true but then I remembered the recent examples of their IQ/mentality -

Hearts on the other hand are building a foundation to dominate Scottish football over the coming years

- and quickly realised that - YES - of course it's true - the majority of them are a baw-hair away from being pickled in jars and placed in 'Surgeons Hall' as exhibits !

I do fear that he may sack himself.

A lucrative payoff...who could say no.

Keep him - has had them going in the right direction...down the table and lowering crowds at the pink half built bus shelter.

He's one of their own.

Serial loser who makes John McGlynn look like Gianni Versace, crapped on Father Dougal without a backwards glance, posted missing when the chips were down in 1986. .. .

74% is not enough. Doctor football is at his spiritual home. The numbers are artificially low as they've restricted it to plums only. If the vote had been open to the whole of Edinburgh he'd have got a Putin sized majority and a couple of medals just for taking part.

Cant believe I voted stay as I'm jealous that Hearts have the tactical mastermind behind the "hoof and hack" and "4-6-0" in their dugout :greengrin

At least we know there’s no danger of them winning a trophy if he stays there.

Although after Budge appointing Cathro, I’d love to see who she’d line up as a replacement for Levein.

Hope they keep him in charge a bit longer while we chip away at his (and their) precious derby record.

Annother few defeats and it won’t look quite as glossy will it Craigy? Without a single trophy to show for several decades in the game what will he have to point to then?

Levein is perfect for Hearts.

He believes in anti-football and is emptying the club's coffers quite nicely every transfer window. He also believes in the superiority of his own club, which backfires on him quite nicely.

Levein must stay!

I voted stay as I like to see Hearts do well. I also think they should name the wonderful new stand after him. What a combination that would be.

With their current financial position I doubt they will swap managers for a while. Watch how any player worth more than £10 gets transferred in the summer. Back to my peg making.
