Do Hibs players practice anything in training for that matter?

A competent first touch is a basic requirement of the job. It shows how far standards have slipped in our game when so many players don't have one.

Maybe it's time to point fingers at those who run the training.

they just love kicking you in the teeth. what will be tonight's excuse. Lennon seems to be constantly getting out thought by opposition mangers, apart from Cathro

Our first touch was excellent vs Hearts. It is purely whether they are up for it or not. They are asleep at the wheel for most of the time in the league (in spite of our points)..

Maybe some of the Hibs players just aren't that good, or as good as some Hibs fans think they are.

They are playing in the second tier of Scottish football, and that's not a really high standard. It is however quite competitive, and Hibs just seem to collapse when the business end of the season rolls round. Weak mentality maybe? How do you account for recent performances?

What is the point of state of the art training facilities?

I'm wondering if they even manage to get a touch in training...

They don't really care about the league at the moment. They were exceptional against Hearts and looked like a team that knew what it was doing. When the league gets tight again, it'll be interesting to see if they get themselves motivated.

Never mind touch do they ever practice throw ins ? Saints first goal came from one of our throw ins on the half way line, they nicked it, cross field ball winger skins the full back-goal , every team you see throws the ball to a players feet or onto a chest for control but not us , utter amateur stuff.

The bit in bold - how do you know that? Why don't they really care about the league at the moment? Just taking a wee break or what? That doesn't make any sense.

You say "when the league gets tight again". It is already tight. 7 points with a game more played is very tight when it's 3 points for a win.

:aok: spot on I have been saying this for years and sad to say that D. Gray is the worst culprit, dont know how many times we give the ball back to the opposing team from throw ins.
