I think the league average was at 15,200+ before saturdays game, so slightly less now.

So what's our average in all league and cup games this season?

14,100 - However this includes 4k at St Mirren challenge cup tie, and 7k at QOTS league cup tie.

League average is 15,100.

That's impressive considering, on the telly, kick off time and the Scottish Rugby game being on just before it

Are we still using actual attendance or is it sold seats now?

Seats sold which I think is in line with the vast majority of clubs in both Scotland and England.

When did we change? Has it been since start of the season? So that means domoarisons historically are meaningless. Our actual attendance average is probably about 1500 less?

Just wondering how, when every single available seat was sold for the Hearts game, why was the attendance 200 below capacity if we give attendance figures for seats sold??

There were seats in west hospitality area not taken, guessing they have to give scouts, sfa , hearts a set number and they never used them all

So surely that shows that even though these tickets are handed out, they are not counted towards the final attendance, which means that we only count those that walk through the turnstiles?

52,478.

(I asked a Jambo friend to calculate it for me.)

If we keep up these high attendances we'll almost definitely snatch the Average Attendance Cup from Hertz this year.

There were a few seats in the bottom corner of the East Stand cordoned off too.

If you are doubting the figure of actual attendance v tickets sold as the figure given its probably more highlighted in other games, for instance it was pretty clear there wasnt 14,400 there on saturday.

I don't count the challenge cup as a real trophy so removing that one has bumped the average up a bit.

Funny that, because my guess was about 13500 in our 3 stands:
East 5500
West 5000
Famous 5 3000
South 900

If we beat Ayr in the cup and play PT at the pink BS in the semi we would smash their attendance again. Aw forgot it has to be played at Hampden for the SC.

Normal kick off without the rugby and council tv broadcast and it would have been 16k easy.

I'd agree with that. I think back in August the gate against Dunfermline was close to 16,500.
