Who was the guy that grabbed Jason Cunmings after the Scottish cup win who said "come on now you've had your moment" 😂?

Jason celebrated with the fans while the other players headed back in.

He usually stands at the tunnel at ER, I think he's head of security. If you watch the video of sunshine on leith after the 1-0 game v them he walks round with the players.

JC was escorted back to the dressing rooms by the Hibs Head of Security presumably for his own safety.

Obviously word had got out that The Rangers players were being pole axed here, there and everywhere. The guy probably saved Cummings life.

He is the head of Security at the club. When all the players where taken off the field Jason was away partying with the fans. Someone must have noticed he was missing and sent him out to look for him.

The look on his face as he threw Jason in the door was one of disgust! poor laddie got lifted off his feet

Got told that down at Leith Links, groups of fans were told to stand behind where the bus would park and assured they'd see everything, but when the bus turned up they were behind it. Folk weren't happy and started booing when the team started leaving as they'd sort of missed out on everything. Apparently Darren McGregor and that guy that holed Cummings back inside noticed this and came out with the cup and folk were holding it and touching it. Dunno if it's true or not - anyone heard likewise? If so, a great gesture by McGregor and that security guy :aok:

It's probably similar to when you lose your kid for a while. You're so concerned that when you do find them you are a bit miffed at them for causing you so much worry.

Very true! And probably a similar reaction from the kid/Jason who has just had the time of their life and can't understand what the fuss is about

I thought our security guy look a bit of a dick the way he was behaving. He man handled Cummings, there will be guys up today at Glasgow Sherrif court for less.

Was it not a case of trying to get player's back in, so we could lift the Cup?

It was quite funny to be honest .... an obviously pumped Jason is being escorted down the tunnel by the security guy when he spots a camera crew. Jason being Jason thinks 'ooh look cameras' and the guy reading his mind goes 'c'mon you've had your moment' .... made me laugh :greengrin

Aye, see the guy who shoved Jase towards dressing room, he went over the score. Security was on the pitch, 5000 security guards lol

I was one of the crowd standing by the parked coach and couldn't see a damn thing. No cup was displayed, so not sure where that came from.
A lot of us asked the police and the Hibs officials standing around to move the damn coach so we could engage with and see the team on the open top bus, they refused and basically ignored the huge crowd of us, some with kids. It really put a dampener on things. The coach could quite easily have been moved a mere 25 or 50 metres, but no, they weren't having it.
The only time we were acknowledged by the players was when they got on the offending coach and even then it was only those who sat on our side. Even Stubbs seemed a little distant (probably knackered from the celebrations) but funny thing is that I sensed that he would not be here next season. Just that far away look in his eyes.

I thought you couldn't see a damn thing but, you got a decent sight of a far away look in Stubbs' eyes.

I saw Alan Stubbs only after he had got off the open top bus and got on the offending coach - the coach that acted as a barrier and prevented a great crowd of us from seeing anything.
This was the only time the same crowd got to see him. He at least sat conveniently by the window looking out towards the crowd who had been denied. He waved once and once only. It was shortly after that wave that I noticed that far away look in his eye.

It was the two coaches taking the families back to Easter Road. It wouldn't be the clubs fault as me and mines arrived early doors and got told the side of the road outside the school would be rubbish to watch so we took our place in front of the hill opposite the old high school. So the police and stewards knew early doors the non links side of the road wasn't happening and if you turned up late or whatever fair enough but it would be glaringly obvious it would be the worst place To stand during the whole parade considering the route.
