What a strike from McGinn.

Was never a free kick for them that lead to their goal. What was it ever given for?

You'd be looking at one of the all time great Hibs goals if McGinn had finished off that move at the end.:cb What a player that boy is. 4 year deal? Brilliant bit of business by Hibs.

No idea. Thought that at the time - in fact I thought he'd given them a throwin which I'd probably have disagreed with as well.

To be fair the penalty was soft.

But I'll take it :greengrin

Was as right in front of us, never a free kick at all. Should've been our throw in and a word with Steven Maclean for being a goat and to calm down.

was it just us that noticed him constantly in the refs ear all match?

That was a strange one as was them getting a free kick when their player went down after a clash of heads. I don't think ref hadn't blown for a foul and the ball had gone out fur a throw in then as well.

A blatant minute little nudge from PH. (Tongue in cheek btw) woeful decision

Btw how far did Maclean run to get in Hendersons face. Right result and let's face it going by highlights Saints got off lightly

Seeing a replay of the penalty, it wasn't, was it? Mikey09 mentioned on the cheating thread earlier today how, as football fans, we condemn everybody else for going down easily but gladly accept them. He's right, we're all hypocrites on this, but, as I said in reply, it's part of the game now, like it or not. It's called "clever play" by pundits, and Henderson was "clever". IMHO, not a pen; brilliant winner though!

Still think it was a pen. The boy caught him - no doubt about it.

For sure. If you look at the free kick they got on edge of box when the boy fell over near McGinn... Didn't see them moaning at that.

First reaction on seeing the highlights was "Penalty!" but having seen the replays it's one of those that depends on your allegiance. We'd be very critical of the referee had that been given against us.

Would I take it? Certainly not - I'd leave that to Cummings.

Dagnall, pass to Cummings next time!!

Even though it looked a stonewaller at the game, there didn't look to be a lot of contact for the penalty. Henderson did well driving into the box but you can see why the Saints players were disappointed at the decision.

Didn't show the oxley save - but apart from that reasonable highlights.

Did Dagnall not hit the post ? Or did I dream that ?

I thought he scuffed a shot outside the box and it hit outside of the post - maybe I did dream it

You didn't.

Look again at the highlights.... it's not clear from the camera angle, but it is on there.

Or Henderson's run from our half on the counter. Thought he was going to bury it and seal the game

Love the way JC ignores the bun fight taking place after Henderson goes down and just grabs the ball and heads towards the spot. That boy only thinks about his next goal.

Quick look on the saints forum they are very complimentary of us today and the support given to the team. I hope they do okay for the remainder of the season [emoji106]🏻

Steven Mclean the Saints player was most definately brought up as a Hibby and has a claim of fame to be probably the youngest ever fan to be evicted from Easter Road (long story!!)

I think he grew up a Hibs fan didn't he ? I was more impressed with Dylan in that stramash - it wasn't picked up but he swots MacLean away when he went for Liam again !

I love Henderson - he's a talented guy but he loves to subtly mix it - winds players up, they lose focus. He's also a loan player who plays and looks like he loves Hibs.

MacLean wasn't in the game after that spat today. Also noticed Wotherspoon hid after getting crunched fairly by McGinn very early second half - as predicted.

Fully agree ref Henderson and his approach as a loan player- also enjoyed him getting Goodwin proper wound up at the St Mirren away game earlier this season
