Well the navy blue dragon's or just anything random in the gazelle. Not sure how much I like the gazelle's though.

Hmmm, maybe just buying for the sake of it!

Id go Dragon, there are not many of them on the go compared to Gazelles

you sound like me, my trainer choices are cut down big time as i only wear Adidas

Only ever Adidas trainers for me.

Love Dragons and Gazelles but got a few pairs of Vespas as well and they are a fantastic trainer, probably my new favourites.

Love Adidas. Got quite a collection. Samba's, Gazelle II, 2 pairs of OG's, 2 pairs of Trimm Stars, Malmo's, Gazelle indoor's', custom Tobacco's and London's.

Alternating between Diadora Trident, New Balance 576 and Superga pumps at the minute.

This thread has inspired me to look out the last pair of adidas I bought, a pair of purple and yellow gazelle skates that had long been relegated to the lowest level.

Ten minutes of scrubbing and they were back to their best. Whiter than white sole and plush upper...nothing like the other plimsoles I've had from adidas. Comfiest I've worn.

If you can find them I'd highly recommend them as they look the business as well as being tough as old boots.

Bamba's were out about 4 years ago or more, I got a nice brown pair then. Even at that they were re-issues of the originals so they've been out at least twice before.

I have Samba Super (3 pairs), the "UK" Samba which are really comfy, Trimm Trab, Trimm Star, couple of pairs of Handball Spezials, couple of pairs of Montreal, Rom, Beckenbauer, Forest Hills, Malmo, Shot and even have a nice pair of Y3's which aren't Adidas Originals obviously.

I really want a pair of Samba's that you can only get in America, just need to find someone over there to get them for me!

I am not sure about Gazelle's and don't really like Campus'. Also not sold on Tobacco or London's. Munchen's are just the same as Trimm Trabb's which i'm not a huge huge fan of.

I'm just being fussy I suppose.

I really like the Trimm Star's so might get another pair of them while i'd definitely buy another pair of Shot if they come back out!

I'm going back over to Florida in the summer and I'll be going nuts when it comes to buying trainers. Some amazing stores over there along with some heavy discounts, coupled with a generous baggage allowance of 2 x 23kg on the return journey, might have to take some orders with me ;-)

Keep an eye on Size, they usually have the best adidas originals.

My ones are purple and yellow affairs! :greengrin I find mine quite tight though.

All adidas originals seem to be tight, small fitting?

On that anyone wanna buy 7.5 red and yellow gazelles worn once for 55 delivered?

I've got a pair in my cupboard, he says rather smugly :greengrin

I also have a rather rare pair of adidas jeans which haven't seen the light of day for a while. Other notable sneakers in there are blue munchen, green trim trabbs and diadora Borg elite (not the jd sport reissues) along with a couple of pairs of gazelles in green/white and the reverse in leather.

I very rarely wear trainers these days and much prefer a pair of clarks desert boots.

There's a cracking place up in Aberdeen that does some great finds, including some really nice Adidas Marathon colourways and New Balance pre orders available just now. And no, I'm not on commission I've just got some good stuff off them.

Going to Orlando later in the year. I'll be hitting the outlets and a shop called Journeys with force. That Journeys had a sale on recently where decent Adidas were down to $40.

until then blue and pink Trimm Trabbs for me. I agree they seem to be a wee bit tight do Originals. Spent a couple of weeks walking about with a limp!

I'm wearing my malmo's to the gym tonight, shouldn't really be.

I hated them at first, tight! Got consigned to the cupboard for the 2 years or something. I've grown really fond of them recently though and they fit better, must've just broken them in!

That's the pair in the below link... Smert

Is there really that much difference between all these kinds of adidas trainers? They all look the same to an unfashionable 40 something eye - training shoe with three stripes.

I can remember when a pair of adidas trainers was beyond the budget of young boys from my generation, and one way to get a pair was to buy affordable trainers with four stripes from markets and the like either tear off or colour in one of the stripes with black pen!

Wanted Hamburg's for ages, can't decide between the red or blue so I'll probably bite the bullet and get both. They'll be pretty sought after and be hard to come by down the line.

Slightly off topic but still "terrace wear"...

Was in Rome recently and got a fairly heavy Stone Island zip up cardigan thing for 189 euros. Came back to the UK and priced it in Cruise... £250... Got my credit card bill and £144 it cost me, over £100 off!

It was actually 220 euros in the shop and I decided I couldnt afford it so he gave me a deal and I couldnt say no. Even at full price still cheaper in euros than it was in sterling if you know what I mean!

I should have bought 3, sold 2 of them back here for less than retail and I still would have scored myself a free SI cardigan... If you have a spare few £££k you could batter across to Rome pick up a rake of SI type gear and sell it back here and basically kit yourself out with a few nice items for free!
