If you have Sky, you can manually add the ITV HD channel through your Sky box.

You might be able to do it with Virgin as well but not sure.

Just had a wee check on Google.

Don't think it is available to get on Virgin at all if you live in Scotland.

Its down to STV, they opted out of the FA Cup so they could use the slots for "quality Scottish dramas". Incidentally STV is showing that famous Scottish drama "Lewis" right now.

Just type in an English post code

It didn't ask for a postcode, it just told me it wasn't available in my region

No, FH said it was possible to manually tune Sky to ITV HD and he was trying to figure out if you could do the same with Virgin, which you can't.

STV YOU SUCK!

Nope. I was talking specifically about getting it in HD.

It is possible to watch it in HD on Sky in Scotland (I'm watching it right now) if you manually tune your Sky box.

That's not possible for Scottish Virgin customers.

2-0 up in an FA Cup tie Derby & so many empty seats at the end? Don't understand people so desperate for a quick get away.

No bother.

Looking back at my post that you quoted and the way that I worded it, if you hadn't seen the previous posts between myself and The_Todd, I realise it may have led to you assuming that I was trying to say that the ITV channel wasn't available at all in Scotland if you have Virgin.

Welcome to Hibs.net where you can argue about... Anything

I wouldn't say anything.

Almost anything would be a more accurate description.
