Gonna get the train from Waverly to Queen Street tomorrow.

What's the best way to get to Celtic Park from the station? Is it walkable?

Otherwise will just befriend some other Hibees and get a taxi.

It's around 3 miles from Queen Street station to Parkhead.

Unless there's a big squad of you and you fancy a swagger, taxi every time in Glasgow, nearly half the price of an Edinburgh Joe.

Go straight down to Argyll St turn left and keep going east through Glasgow X and Gallowgate. It's a good walk but there are plenty pubs on the way.

Don't think walking will be a option tomorrow, weather is going to be honking through Glasgow.

Get off at Carntyne, or Shettleston, they're much closer to Parkhead, think its about a 10 to 15 minute walk from one of them.

Dalmarnock's the closest station, think that train goes from central so you'd be just as well getting a taxi

Aye taxi is best then the walk back which can be magic or murder depending on the result!

I always ask for a cheap day return to Bellgrove from Edinburgh. Get off at Queen Street and use lower underground service to Bellgrove. Then about a 10 min walk.

You can get the train to Bridgeton too, I've done that before when visiting that dump for university work etc

Quite a few of us meeting in the Nor Loch at Waverley around ten, for a few pints before the 11 train. Buzzing.

Train at 11/11.30. Always enjoy a wee day trip through here. One of the best on the fixture list IMO.

Get the train to bellgrove. Direct from Edinburgh. It's the Helensburgh train. Alternatively get the train to qst high level then the low level train back to bellgrove. Around a mile from the ground but it's all through celtic territory. Avoid Bridgeton as that's rangers territory.

It's blowing a gale and the rain is lashing down. Not a day for a leisurely stroll. Are these conditions good or bad for our hoofball?

Closest Train Station to the away end Turnstyles at Celtc Park is Dalmarnock (15 mins walk)

It takes at least 10 minutes longer if you get the train to Bellgrove and walk from there.
