What is his current injury problem?
What is it going to take to get this guy on the pitch?
If we can't, then we should look at getting him of the wage bill and get a proper full back in so that we never see Stevenson there again.

It's a real shame that what appeared to be the best right back we'd signed in years is perpetually injured. Sadly we just can't foot the bill for his treatment. If this keeps up I'd expect him to be gone in January.

Possibly the biggest waste of money the club has had to pay for since we hired Fenlon himself.

Or was that Kuqi? Or maybe a chronically injured McPake?

I understand (sound like the BBC there) it's a groin problem

Makes you glad Killen didn't arrive as the treatment table's got Clancy's towel stapled to it

Clancy is a sick note. Hibs (apparently)wont pay for scans for the players. Also what's the script with maybury??

Tell that to Cairney who is having one today.

He's our Daniel prodan
We would have been better keeping spoony and playing him at RB

Don't want to kick a man when he's down, but for goodness sake, he's NEVER fit and we would be best cutting our losses, IMO of course

Thank goodness for that. I was worried we would have nobody training round the pitch after games this season. ;-)
If he does not get fit soon, we have to cut our losses and get in a replacement.

He is just the latest in a long line of injury prone duds that we seem to specialise in.

Training after a groin op. should be a couple of weeks and finally sorted the problem out.

Its a funny one because he could come good and weve spent two seasons on him ala maloney at celtic and he recovers and does well elsewhere. I wonder if there is an issue at east mains, grass to soft or hard and players are getting injuries?

If this is the only natural right back that pat seems to want to play, despite signing two of his own, then lets hope he's back soon.

So if it came out his career was in doubt and all that, wo
uld the same sick note comments be levied at him or would there be a sympathetic number of posts to say how unlucky he is etc. I'm not saying this is the case but for ffs some people need to get a grip and appreciate its nothing at all to do with his capabilities or choice, sometimes no news is good news but as I suggested a while back on a mcpake thread I'm not sure it applies in this instance.

Mullen has been injured. Pat signed Clancy so not sure what you are referring to?

Clancy's looked pretty good whenever I've seen him. Hope he's back playing soon.

Mullen was fit enough to play over an hour, he was fit enough to start. This was a judgement call from Pat, which he got wrong. I'm not particularly out to get Pat, but the judgement call to play Lewis at RB after the first leg performance is stunning. He has also signed Maybury

I am sure Clancy was training on the pitch before the match near the centre circle. He had all green shorts and top on. I assumed he was doing a fitness test?

I saw Clancy running at least three times round the pitch before going into chat with Jimmy Nicholl. Seemed to be running at a fair pace too but if it`s a groin injury, he wont be able to kick a ball

Should fit straight back in then

:agree:Better to start him and if he broke down you could change it then, rather than put Lewis through a further night of pain.

He was training before the game on his own with a physio
