If there was no Sportscene last night, you'll get the goals from yesterday as well.

I think Celtic v united will be the main match, as it wasn't on council TV today. However I expect some action from yesterday's game

Mr Thmpson awards a free kick for pass back. The 'offence' is when the keeper picks it up - not when the pass is made. Yet he awards the free kick from where the pass was made. This guy really is top drawer.

Isn't it the case that a free kick can't be taken from within the 6 yard box?

Correct. The ball is placed on the goal area line closest to where the offense took place.

Thought so. So, in this particular case, "Mr. Thomson" is indeed "top-drawer". :greengrin

Bummer. Still thought the ball had crossed over the line before the keeper touched it. So boo sucks to Mr Top Drawer Thompson.

I understand he never recovered from finishing second to Joe Dolce's Shaddapayaface in the final reckoning...

Yup. Chart-rigging. Awful business. However, he's in good company with Rotten and Garland.

Now THERE'S a midfield three.
