Someone very close to Hibs has confirmed to a close friend of mine that GOC is comming back to Hibs on a 'pay as go' contract at the end of the season, it should be announced this week. :agree:

Perhaps Rod's dream of GOC scoring the winning goal in the SC final has a chance to come true yet!!

Also i have it on decent authority that Amadou Konte will return from SerieD with a part coaching remit.

No chance, deadline for registering players was today so we will be going with what we have for the rest of the season.

According to my source it is a done deal.

Could be a long day replying to all the witty April Fools Day gags.....

There is no way in hell that GOC will be back at Hibs whilst PF is Manager, the actions of GOC, especially on Cup Final day, have put that to bed....

Come on admin. Delete this silly thread. Or do what you normally do and merge it with another thread.

I have it on exceptionally good authority that GOC has a place reserved on the bench for Saughton Strollers.

This won't be happening, absolutely no danger at all.

My source reliably informs me that the Saughton Strollers are looking for a more sturdy bench so this could be true.

:agree: Heard we were going to use his ample frame to fill the gap between our two " centre halves" against ICT at the weekend.

Even if he ate a tray a day I'd still favour him over Doyle.

Give him a chance. At the end of the day only God can judge him.

He might be rubbish he might not if he scores in the semi final and gets us through who cares? Only until the end of the season and the more attakers in the team the more good it is for us, everyone who slated konte, remember who got us into Europe when he scored vs Motherwell;) as long as it is good for hibs it is fine by me, good luck Garry

Would be delighted with this.

Does anyone fancy Garry or Deek to ever get another full time contract?

It could be self-defeating though. Players can sometimes get frustrated if they cant replicate the moves that more talented coaches show them. Can Sparky really pull off 'the giraffe'? :dunno:
