Has anyone ever hired a Limo?

I'm thinking about hiring one for my in-law's ruby anniversary.

We'd only need it for an hour, to give us a wee drive around while we neck some sparkly then to take us to South Queensferry.

Any idea as to cost and/or recommendations?

We hired one for our daughter's P7 dance. For an hour it cost around a tenner a head for about eight children. There was a whole fleet of limos lined up in the car park at the end of the dance so I'd guess prices were pretty much the same for all operators. We just picked one from the yellow pages but don't remember which it was.

Is it a limousine or one of these stretched ones?

My parents in law have just moved to a street where there are a few of the stretched ones parked. One is pink and one is silver...if that's any indication of quality, and they look OK.

I can give them a chap or give you their number if you want. Dunfermline based ones might be cheaper?
