Pretty Boy

I know a lot of people on here used to follow the career of fellow Hibby, boxer Craig McEwan.
After a couple of defeats, including one to Andy Lee by KO when he was well up on points, Craig quit LA and Freddie Roaches Wildcard Gym to return to Scotland and try to mix it in the British scene. Unfortunately he's found it a bit of a closed shop and struggled to get meaningful fights, 2 easy wins over 6 rounds all he's managed in 18 months. Part of the problem is as he's not a name in Britain he's high risk for low reward.
Anyway Craig has just signed up to compete in the next installment of the Prizefighter series on 3rd November. If he performs to his potential then he should win it, although the nature of the show means It's always risky. Hopefully a good performance will make Eddie Hearn take notice.
If anyone deserves success It's Craig. Made a big decision to move to LA in the first place and an even bigger one to move back and leave a comfortable life and a contract with Golden Boy behind. Part of his problem is he's too nice and won't do the trash talking and calling out of other fighters that gets people noticed. He also does a fair bit to help out local charities and also helps train young boxers at Clovenstone ABC.
Hopefully things pick up for him and he gets his career back on track.
