On Friday coming, playing a round of golf at Kings Acre.

Does anyone know of a good restaurant within Leith/Dalkeith area?

The grub was more than decent a couple of years ago at King's Acre, the Melville ( by Dobbies) or Table Table by the golf range are good too, and no parking problems.

The Radhuni in Loanhead is an excellent Indian, just a couple of minutes in the car from Kings Acre.

The Leith/Dalkeith area? Is that all of east Edinburgh out to Cameron Toll, and then the Inch, Gilmerton, Danderhall and Dalkeith chucked in for free?

In all seriousness, if you're near Dalkeith then you could do a lot worse then heading for the Sun Inn (towards Nitten from Dalkeith).

The cavaliere in dalkeith is good if you fancy italian.

:agree: good place. There is also a good Indian at the top of Leith Walk but I forget the name - don't live in Edinburgh and went there after a full day of drinking following the new year derby.

:agree: Mongolian Barbecue, haven't been there for years, used to do pitchers of "Mongolian Migraine" absoluted gutted the last time I left there!

Gigi's in Bonnyrigg is good. Old school mate owns it and been a few times. Or as someone has said, itihaas if you fancy indian

Beijing Banquet is brilliant! Well worth £14, you eat that much you end up like a burst couch.

Food is good, always warm and changed regularly.

TIP: Don't eat for at least 3 days before going :greengrin

Last time I was in that place it was a pub called the Maulsford ..changed days ...:agree:

Food in clubhouse at Kings Acre is pretty good as well.
