Currently listening to "Back Home to Leith" - cracking tune, blasting it loud through my speakers singing along.

“The reason I created the Hibs song was that I listened to the Hearts one by Michael and thought it is dreadful,” quipped the 42-year-old. “So I thought I’ll write one and it’ll at least be in tune.”

It's absolutely awful...

Most football songs are mind, New Order's England song has yet to be bettered...

Total rubbish. I won't be downloading it that's for sure.

Sounds like he's making up the lyrics as he goes along.

The moment i heard there was a final "song" my heart sank. No offence to the singer at all, (and i havent heard it) but it just made me think of every world cup scOtland went to. With a "song" to spur us on, disaster always welcomed us with open arms- at least thats how it seemed to me anyway...

With great hits such as "Don't come home to soon". What did people really expect?

Yes, i thought of that one. "I have a dream" in '82 was one possible exception. I still like it

I've said it an endless amount of times on here, but we're such a pessimistic country, particularly when it comes to football.

We play down our chances of achievement, when we should really be bigging ourselves up instead.

I honestly believe that most football matches are won or lost at the beginning.

I can see why you said that, because of my first comment about songs, but I am not pessimistic about Saturday at all. If I was, I wouldn't have spent a shedload of money I can't afford to fly 6000 miles from Brazil on Thursday and 6000 miles back again on Sunday, would I? I totally think we can win. My comment was just about "songs" before big footballing events. I just connect them with disaster, that's all. Can't help it and just posted that thought. Otherwise, the cup is ours! :flag:
