I just decided to change my flooring in the kitchen and found that the existing tiles are cemented straight to the wooden floor with no hardboard barrier.

Anyone got any advice on the easiest way to get them up. Is it just a hammer and bolster job and an industrial sander ?

Anybody had to do this before ?

:agree:

The adhesive/grout shouldn't take that well to wooden boards, so a good scrape should do the job.
