The 4th set of this year's Australian Open semi finals, also against Djokovic.

It's been a decent tournament for Murray, obviously no-one knows how the semi would have gone against Nadal, if it had gone ahead, but he has got to a Masters final against Djokovic, who is just playing so well just now. He really looks as if he'll be dominating in much the same way as he did in 2011.

He's got to be the favourite to lift the French Open, when it gets underway at the end of May. It's the only Grand Slam that he's yet to win in his career and I really can't see past him at the moment.

Murray just didn't have an answer to Djokovic's first serve.

At the risk of sounding like Billy Big Heid I've got tickets for the Quarters of the French Open, saw Djokovic get beaten by Melzer? in a 5 set match 2 years ago and really looking forward to going again. Hope I get to see either Murray or Federer. If its Murray a Hibs top might get dug out with a Scotland flag to get the classis bald, ginger fat Scottish guy look!

Sounds great, you should get to see some decent matches then. Certainly think Djokovic will be there, as I said earlier I think he'll win the whole thing. Nadal, if he's fit, will also be there although there has to be serious questions asked about his fitness after he pulled out of his semi against Murray in Miami last week.

I'd like to think that Murray will make the quarter finals, although there's always the chance at the French Open that he could get a dodgy draw and get to play a clay court specialist in the early rounds which could put him out, although I think he should be fine to make the last eight.

Roger Federer, on current form, will also be there although he did have a bad loss to Andy Roddick last week, but you've got to think that he'll still make the quarter finals. He's been to at least the quarter finals in Paris every year for the past seven years.

How easy is it to get tickets for the French Open, anyway? Do you stay in France or are you just over there anyway at that time? I've been to Wimbledon for the past few years and really enjoyed it but I've always fancied going to another tournament and seeing what the different atmospheres are like. I would really like to go to the Australian Open one year. It would cost a bit but it's a long term ambition of mine!

You never know, I might go one day!

Sorry for delay in getting back. My wee brother lives in Paris. His wife works for BNP Paribas who are sponsors. The staff get the chance to enter a draw to buy tickets for both this and the Paris Masters final in November. Cost 100 Euro for 2. I was lucky enough to get 2 sets.

When I'm there I'll find out about public sales for you.

BTW total rip off inside. These big tennis balls that get sold are about 40E and the towels 60E. Take it Wimbledon is the same

FH - Have a look at the French Tennis Federation website, there is an English option and the tickets are now on General Sale.

60 euros for a towel!!? That's £50! :bitchy:

Take it they're just replicas of the towels that they give to the players and say "Roland Garros" on them?

The equivalent towels at Wimbledon are £28. Still a bit ridiculous for a towel if you ask me but not quite £50!!

Hope you enjoy the tennis when it comes round! Just hope you get decent weather as they don't have a roof there yet.

Cheers, don't have enough holidays left to go this year as I'm off to Wimbledon again this year.

Maybe next year!

What days do you have tickets for this year FH?

I was first name out the hat in our club ballot on Sunday and we had a pair of tickets for the men's semi finals! I couldn't believe my luck, especially coming the day after Hampden. I was on a high all day until I suddenly realised I'd just days earlier booked our holidays for that week!! I'm absolutely sick but my brother is now delighted!

At the moment, I've only got the first Thursday, Centre Court, which was through the public ballot.

I've still got a couple of other ballots to try though and I normally get at least 3 days out of it in total. I'm down there for a week as I've got family there that I visit. If I'm lucky enough to get men's final tickets, I'll just come back up and then go back down again for it.

Don't think I'll be THAT lucky though!!
