Quick question:

Anyone know why Match of the Day is probably the only programme which you can't get on the BBC Iplayer?

Its all to do with the deal theyve got with the premier league and broadcasting rights.

That's what confuses me - not only that, they repeat it on a Sunday and can show a second version the following day - really, what is the issue with it being available (like the Football League Show is) on the Iplayer?

Im sure MOTD2 appears on the iplayer around Tues/Wed.

As stated above, its all to do with the rights the BBC bought as part of their package. Doesnt include showing highlights throughout the week. Only give rights to a main showing and one repeat.

Pretty annoying as i'm rarely in on a Saturday to watch it! I'm sure i've watched it on the iPlayer a couple times? :confused:

No point in it as they put MOTD2 on there and you get the Sunday games on that.
