The final weekend of the 2011 tennis season takes the players to Seville for the Davis Cup final between Spain and Argentina.

Rafael Nadal has just put Spain 1-0 up with an easy, straight sets victory against Juan Monaco and David Ferrer is just about to take on Juan Martin Del Potro.

Spain lead 2-1 going into the final day tomorrow.

Spain went 2-0 up last night after David Ferrer won a five set epic against Juan Martin Del Potro after almost five hours on court, however Argentina have kept the tie alive after David Nalbandian and Eduardo Schwank beat Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco in straight sets.

Rafael Nadal will now play Juan Martin Del Potro in the first tie tomorrow and if Del Potro can win that one then it will all come down to the final rubber between David Ferrer and David Nalbandian.

Personally don't see any other outcome, except for a Spain victory, and I think Nadal will comfortably see off Del Potro.

Spain wrap up their 5th Davis Cup title with Rafael Nadal's four-set victory against Juan Martin Del Potro.

With that match, the 2011 season finally comes to an end and the players will now have about a month to prepare for the 2012 season and the Australian Open, which begins in six weeks' time.
