Planning on getting the Hibs badge tattoo on my chest next week while off work on Holiday, advice needed on where is the best place, and roughly how much it will cost me.

Thanks in advance.

All depends on where you go, if you're having colour done, and what size you want. Most tattooists will charge by the hour for bespoke tattoos but if it's something of the peg it will most likely be a set price, probably ranging form £50-£100 dependent on the tattooist. Hope this helps.

Got mine 10years ago down Elm Row, Billy's i think - 70quid.

IIRC he also was the artist that done the tattooing or etching for the movie Cape Fear on De Niro.

To fit in with all the doom and gloom - surely you want a tattoo of a torn up season ticket book?

On the upper left breast area just above the nipple.

Dont have any tattoos on the area mentioned but I have it from a reliable source that the chest area is one of the most painfull areas to get a tattoo. :dunno:

I'm getting a tattoo done at Ink Well (sp) in East calder (not a Hibs one). I have seen some Hibs ones in his shop and gets a great reputation. You wont be able to get it done next week though as I had to book 3 weeks in advance. Shows how good he is though :agree:

I got my badge done a couple of days after in was announced at ACE, I never found it that sore [but I'm no wimp :greengrin ] and the colour is still great but it's a very busy shop and appointments are needed.

my colour is still great aswell and i had to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment but for what you get worth a few weeks wait and worth the money you pay, i would highly recommend ace.

Anyone had tattoo work done at crossroads in Rosyth? was quoted £70 for the Hibs Badge which I thought was quite good.

Did he get it done in a shop? If he did, then I wouldn't go near a shop that would tattoo a 14 year old. That is ridiculous!!!

Not that it means much but when I was 15 I could easily pass as 18. Never had a problem getting a carry out and just about got into every pub or club I tried.
