Listening to Barry Manilow on cassette (not cd!!) while standing on your head and wearing a bra (cup size at least F for best results).

Let me know if it helps.

It's *loody agony so you have my sympathies.

Drink loads of liquid to flush the uric acid out of your system; ibuprofen to reduce the swelling; and depending where the gout is, treat the area with ice packs or buckets of freezing water if it's in the vicinity of your big toe.

It usually calms down after a couple of days thankfully.

If you get regular attacks then you should visit the Doc who will probably give you a blood test to establish whether or not you require regular medication to prevent further attacks.

150g black beans in 2 litres of water. Boil and drink broth not the beans.

Seems to be working wonders.
