A thread for all those things where you just wish you had your camera handy. :greengrin
During the current slippy weather there must have been a few. :agree:
I was standing outside having a cigarette the other night. A crowd of young guys were walking along having fun, probably after having a few beers.
“Look at that.” said one in astonishment pointing at the pavement about 20 feet in front of him “That’s sheer black ice!”
He ran and with an almighty leap adopted the sliding/surfing pose in mid air just as he was landing.
Shame. It wasn’t black ice. It was a piece of pavement, cleared of snow, that just had a very shallow layer of water on it shimmering in the moonlight.
Of course instead of the anticipated slide the chaps feet stopped dead and he went erkie over boob rolling and rolling like a Drogba while his mates were poorless with laughter. :faf: :faf: :faf:
