Looking to get 2 PAYG mobiles for the bairns as part of their Christmas.

There are literally huners to choose from !!

Any recommendations for a budget of £100 for the pair. Not each :greengrin
I've seen some buy one get one free offers.
Needs to have cameras and touch screens.

Not fussed if one is dearer than the other.

Anyone recently bought a phone for their bairn ?

Samsung Toco Lite J, some good reviews on the phone and passed the cool test with my boy. Can also be ordered in different colours.
Cheapest I could find was HERE (http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/mobile-phone/payg/samsung/Samsung-S5230-Tocco-Lite-Silver.html?network=orange&tariffcode=EOJT) and it may be worth checking out Quidco for cashback offers.

Jimmy, my 11 y/o laddie has a Samsung Genio Touch. He is very happy with it and importantly it passes the test with his pals  Not sure how it compares with the Toco lite though.

What's the OS of the phone?? If - as I supect it is - it's a proprietary OS to Samsung (as opposed to Android etc) then you'll only be able to download apps available for that OS. I'd ask Samsung directly to be honest.

Will the identity of the OS be in the instructions?:greengrin

No idea, but once upon a time, a long, long time ago a clever - and now immenesely rich - ****er invented Google :greengrin

It says on the link belowe, underneath features that the OS is proprietary, as I thought.
