Places Up North etc

Me and a couple of mates (All over 18) thought of the idea of going up north or somewhere outside edinburgh. We are looking at cottages etc but cant really find anything that seems right for a good drink and enjoy ourselves.we are worried that there would be no place that would take us.
Obviously we wouldnt wreck the place but just so nobody complains about the noise etc.
Anyone know anywhere that could be right for us?

Try there,it's in the middle of nowhere but very good if with good company,your neighbours are Highland coos,we stayed in the smaller side of it when a crowd if us from work went.

Just noticed you said you and a couple of mates,maybe that will be no good then,be too expensive for just a few folk,far better with a crowd.
