As it says on the tin. I have the hangover munchies. Can anyone recommend a good place to go for food, preferably for taking back to my flat, in the north of Edinburgh. I am open to any suggestions.

Cheers all!

North of Edinburgh....

Gerrys takeaway on Pennywell Road does a good brekkie roll. Then there's Greggs also on Pennywell. If that doesn't tickle yer fancy then McD's on Telford Road :greengrin

A breakfast roll sounds like just the ticket. A cheeky macaroni lie from Greggs would also be good. Now to try and get my lazy arse out of bed to go and get it!

Dunno if it's still open but Cafferty's in D Mains used to do quality breakfast rolls.:agree:

Probably too late for today but for future reference The Granary at the Shore (previously The Lighthouse and The Trading Post) do an excellent breakfast.

Great for a habgover especially with a cheeky wee bowl of porridge on the side.
