It'll be interesting to see if he continues to play Bamba

Is this old hat? (http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=soccer/10/03/28/SOCCER_Ivory_Coast_Snap.html)

I haven't seen it mentioned.

Will this be good news or bad news for Sol? We know the previous manager rated him, but will Sven?

I'm sure a new manager coming in won't want to rock the boat too much. He'll probably be in the next squad.

That is, unless Oscar Lomax has Sven's number.

Surprising choice for me - lacklustre manager with England, sacked by Mexico and I don't see what he'll bring to such a talented team as Ivory Coast.

Frees up Sparky Hughes to take over the reins at Celtc....

:cool2:

I think this is a shocking choice of manager for Ivory Coast, as someone above me wrote, what will Sven bring to a talented bunch of individuals?

How soon will we see Sven at ER to run the rule over Sol, or will he probably wait until we're away to cellik/gers!

Saw this on the BBC

Speaking on Ivorian state television, Alex Souleymane Bamba, advisor to the head of the Ivorian FA said Eriksson "was a proven and trophy-winning technician."

might explain why Sol gets a game :greengrin
