:agree:Hi All, sorry that we have not posted in ages, and sorry for not wishing you all a Happy Christmas! Liam is continuing to make fantastic progress these past few months. He had an operation to lengthen his tendons in his leg in August and that has been a great success. It seems to have 'straightened' him up and has really improved his walking. He manages around the house without his crutch, but still needs one for when he is out and about, as his knee gives way now and again. It also helps to give him better balance when he's out on the town at the weekends:greengrin The consultants are delighted with him and have decided that the best thing to do is just see how things go. We have talked with them about the possibility of Liam having Proton Therapy if there is any change in the tumour and they thought that could be a possibility. The only problem is that he would have to either go to Paris or USA for treatment. The first NHS machine will be in England in 5 years time. This Proton Therapy is the most advanced radiotherapy there is, it doesn't damage surrounding tissue, which is why it is so good for brain tumours. Anyway we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, we had a great time. Liam's brother only travelled up from Edinburgh on Christmas Eve, I was a nervous wreck before they got home:agree: We hope the match will be on today, we are off down to Liam's grandads to watch it.:bye:

Great news! Keep it up my man - if the team shows the same spirit as you have we'll have no worries this season!
