View Full Version : My prediction for the upcoming Scotland weekend..

All OF-based players to start, regardless of previous international experience or current form, including Danny Fox, pushing out Lee Wallace (who put in an exceptional performance against Japan).

Kenny Miller to play a completely undeserved 90 minutes, and missing a one-on-one or other ridiculously easy chance.

Derek Riordan to be brought on with five minutes to go, if any.

The game to finish 0-0 or 1-0 to Wales.

:bitchy:

Me to watch it regardless. 'MON THE SCOTS :saltireflag

I have a feeling that Fletcher might start up front with Miller. Would be good if Riordan got a longer run out than last time. Was a wasted trip for him really. Hopefully he doesnt go with one up front

My prediction is that I'll be watching the Republic of Ireland game in the pub, hoping Stokes gets a run out.

IMHO, Burley is already on an extremely shoogly peg with most Scots fans. Starting Danny Fox ahead of Lee Wallace will knock him off.

Kevin Kyle will start

Lee Wallace is one of two jumbos I would take at hibs in a heart beat.

If he does not start its a shocker - we have struggled for years since Naysmith had position as his own to find a replacement with some really poor options. He was the best Scot last time out.

Team should have as many under 25's as possible if we are serious about making an impact in future tournaments

Because the ROI game actually counts for something and isn't a meaningless friendly, mainly.

Can't see them getting three. 2-1 an understrength Wales side.

It being Wales, there might be a smidgeon of needle in this match for a change.

I quite miss the Home International tournament and I think it should be reintroduced.

Riordan should be given a chance and given a start against wales get some untested players on the international stage in the squad instead of the usual old firm players

Wasted trip? How can a free all expences paid trip to Japan, where you just have to play some football at the other end, while your employer still pays you be wasted?

Wish I had a job like that. The best I get are meetings in Portsmouth.

You certainly did. I was guilty of not underestimating the sheer badness of Burley, the Scotland side and the general set-up enough. It's a mistake i don't often make, and will never do so again.

Here goes my next prediction:

Any Future Opponents Reserves 5 Scotland 0.

From a Hibs perspective, I can't wait for another fun-packed international break to disrupt us with a pointless soul-destroying game while we're riding high.
